What a day. It certainly was Good Friday! The big day came and went with huge amounts of excitement. We had an early start (6:15) and eagerly got into the present opening. At 7:00 the dogs started barking and we had visitors, Nan and Papa had caught the bus up to be with Me on my birthday. I got some lovely things- thankyou everyone, we had a small party at home, but I was so tired, we cut the cake early and I went to bed!! Mum and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa had a really good time. Our dugout looked like a fairy castle. We had balloons and butterflies hanging from the roof, and it was magical. I liked grabbling them and pulling them down (with pieces of the roof!). Mum made a butterfly cake and it was really yummy!!!Here are a few photos of the day. We also went out looking for zebra rocks. I found a special one, which will be my pet rock, reminding me of my 1st birthday in Coober Pedy.
